工匠結合「研出蒔繪」與「高蒔繪」技法：前者將金粉圖案封入多層漆料後經七道研磨工序逐漸顯現；後者混合炭粉與金粉直接塑造立體紋理。金魚圖案捨棄環境描繪，單獨呈現於漆黑背景上，魚鱗隨角度產生虹彩變化。這種極簡處理強化了金魚作為繁榮象徵的文化意涵—源自中日皇室園庭的觀賞傳統。

筆尖採用18K金製造，維持Pelikan一貫的書寫性能。製作時，匠人先以生漆打底，再逐層上色漆與透明漆，每層需在特定濕度下乾燥兩週。最後用木炭蘸水反覆研磨，使金魚圖案從漆層中逐漸浮現，呈現「研出」技法特有的深邃感。高蒔繪部分則使魚眼與背鰭微微隆起，形成觸覺層次。整項工藝需三個月完成，每支筆皆為獨特的手工藝品。

The Pelikan M1000 Goldfish fountain pen showcases traditional Japanese lacquer techniques on a German-engineered base. Artisans employ both Togidashi-Maki-e and Taka-Maki-e methods to create dimensional goldfish motifs.

In the Togidashi process, designs are drawn in colored lacquer, sprinkled with gold powder, then sealed beneath multiple layers of urushi that are carefully polished to reveal the pattern. The Taka technique incorporates charcoal and gold powder directly into the lacquer, producing raised elements with subtle texture. The goldfish motif, rendered without environmental details, appears to swim across the pen’s surface, its scales catching light differently at each angle.

This minimalist approach focuses attention on the creature’s symbolic value as an emblem of prosperity. The 18k gold nib maintains Pelikan’s writing standards while complementing the decorative theme.
