日本的銀器製作歷史悠久，按照紀錄，最早出現的銀製品可追溯至奈良時代；而自江戶時代初期起亦出現了專門製作銀器的職人「銀師」。
Silverware has a long history in Japan, dating back to the Nara Period. In the early Edo period, there were craftsmen who specialized in making silverware called “Shirogane”.
Platinum 銀無垢鍛金鋼筆就是由東京銀器傳統工藝士「岩村淳市」製作，以人手在純銀筆桿上鍛打出美麗獨特的鎚紋模樣。每個鍛面都有不同的受光角度，只要轉動筆桿就能反射出閃亮的光芒，正是鍛銀鋼筆引人入勝之處。
The Hammered Silver Fountain Pen is made by Junichi Iwamura, a traditional silver craftsman recognized by Japanese Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and Tokyo Traditional Handicraft Association. The beautiful and unique hammered pattern is forged on the sterling silver pen barrel by hand with the Tankin-migaki technique, bringing out its shimmer and shine.
