The brown patina, known as the peacock-like pattern, is a color that was independently developed, drawing inspiration from the traditional coloring technique called “sugar burning.” By controlling chemicals and flames, the brass undergoes a chemical reaction, resulting in vivid colors.

The colors born from metal coloring will develop a unique texture with each use, much like the process of breaking in a pair of denim jeans.
